The natural salt comes from sea water and is collected in a non-intrusive manner while maintaining all of the valuable ingredients. The collection is made in September and October from the salt works. During the first phase, evaporation of water under conditions that prevent any contamination from the environment takes place. Then we proceed to the final drying by solar energy to reach the stage of package providing a product that retains all the natural ingredients.
Fleur de sel is gathered by hand from the first layer of the salt lake before being incorporated with the rest of the salt and therefore obtain its crystalline form. Fleur de sel is also hand cleaned and dried in the sun. It is characterized by it exceptional natural white color, texture and smooth taste. Fleur de sel retains all nutrients and components and is naturally iodinated.
